Bearing Steel Construction GCr15 carbon steel — the same grade used in precision bearings — provides exceptional hardness, wear resistance, and long service life. These taps hold their edge through repeated use on tough materials.
Smooth, Precise Cutting Four-flute right-hand plug-type chamfer design cuts cleanly and efficiently. The square-end round shank accepts standard tap wrenches or adjustable wrenches for comfortable hand threading.
Laser-Etched Sizing Each tap is clearly marked with its NPT size for fast identification. No more mixing up taps when you're working between multiple pipe sizes.
